The Chanel Reissue Bag is a true French classic, re-released in 2005, having been initially designed by Coco Chanel herself in 1955. This is the bag from which the Classic Flap was born, and was indeed the first handbag to be carried by upper class woman on their shoulders. Condition: Great condition. The exterior leather has been well maintained and is in great condition with light wear only. This can be seen in the form of light rubbing to the leather below the mademoiselle turnlock (photo 7). As with all Reissues, there is a crease to the base, as in keeping with the vintage spirit of the Reissue style, these bags are shipped to Chanel stores flat packed, resulting in these creases. The hardware is in great condition with light wear visible to the turnlock and to the chain link strap. The interior is clean and in excellent condition.
