An innovative Annual Calendar that could only come from Glashütte

The 42mm platinum case houses a skeletonised dial in deep blue – inspired by the quiet beauty of the early morning, when the first watchmakers sit at their workbenches in the Glashütte Original ateliers. The integrated annual calendar reliably displays the current date and the month, complemented by a classic moon phase display at 2 o’clock. Only once a year – on 1 March – is a manual correction necessary. The highly refined manufactory calibre 92-11 is at work inside, equipped with a silicon balance spring for outstanding accuracy and a running time of 100 hours. The retrograde month display and the characteristic Panorama Date at 4 o’clock emphasize the technical sophistication of this watch.

Developed entirely in-house, the movement powering this PanoMatic Calendar features a silicon balance spring and a frequency of 28,800 half-oscillations per hour ensure exceptional rate precision. Additional features include a remarkable running time of 100 hours, impressive shock resistance and overall ease of use, as the retrograde month display, date and time are easily set using the crown.

Compared to the perpetual calendar, the annual calendar is a relatively recent complication. It displays the date and month, taking the months with 30 and 31 days into account. Only once a year, on March 1st, is it necessary to correct the date. No question about it: this masterpiece is clearly a genuine original from the tradition-rich centre of Glashütte watchmaking.

The finely decorated dial with record decor, applied white gold indexes and blued hands with Super-LumiNova® make the PanoMaticCalendar an eye-catcher on the wrist. Available with either a Lousiana alligator leather strap or a hard-wearing textile strap, every detail blends into a harmonious overall picture.
