Our Solid Steel Axle Dumbbell Handle fits the design of a barbell into the palm of your hand. Constructed from a single steel mould, the handle offers loadable 22.5cm sleeves which can be tailored and adjusted to the exact weight set by the lifter. Suitable for any olympic sized plates, the Axle Handle is extremely versatile, especially if you already have plates to hand in your gym.

The medium knurl used for many of our barbells has been replicated here to provide a secure yet comfortable grip. And considering the thickness of the handle, you’ll be providing your forearms with an extra challenge.

For anything above light weights, standard collars may not be tight enough to hold plates in place if the dumbbell is rotated. For safety reasons, we highly recommend either the Dumbbell Handle Collars or the Olympic Screw Clamp Collars.

This barbell uses a black E-coating, (harder wearing than black oxide, chrome and zinc) which is corrosion resistant, environmentally friendly and economical. E-Coating is the process of electrically applying a paint finish to metals. The end result is a hard-wearing, durable and safe finish which effectively resists oxidation and corrosion from water, sunlight and household chemicals.
