Each mini set of Shiseihanbai incense includes a tiny brass incense holder. Insert an incense stick, light it, let it burn for a moment, then blow out the flame. You'll see that the stick is still smoldering. It will emit gentle smoke, with a warm and meditative fragrance, for about 15 minutes after lighting and blowing out.

As with any process involving flame, please be cautious. Use only on appropriate surfaces; don't leave incense unattended; and don't leave it in reach of kids or pets.
