On a typical day we are driving dogsled for six hours with a few short breaks underway. The breaks are used to get some hot water and some chocolate and for the dogs to have a rest. Usually they are not that tired, so rather than having a five-minute well-deserved nap, they are busy either flirting with the females, playing or growling at each other.
One dog is injured in his paw and he needs a few days rest on the sled.
It is nice to stop for a while, just having a chat and a look at the horizon and the adventure that lies ahead.
