PLANT:

• Mammillaria elongata cristata, commonly known as "Crested Ladyfinger Cactus," is a unique and visually appealing cultivar of Mammillaria elongata. Instead of the typical cylindrical stems of the non-crested form, the stems of Mammillaria elongata cristata are flattened and contorted, creating a fascinating and ornamental appearance. 
  In spring, funnel-shaped flowers typically appear only on the normal growing stems. The flowers vary from whitish to pale yellow or pinkish and may sometimes be flushed pink or have a darker midstripe.
  
• Water Needs: Low; allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
• Light Requirement: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight. Can tolerate some direct sunlight.
• Maintenance: Low; minimal pruning required. Trim to maintain the desired shape and remove any dead or damaged growth.
