The size chart refers to your body measurements.

Actual garment measurements, for the shirt circumference (bust and hip are the same measurements) are: 

1x - 58", 2x - 63", 3x - 68", 4x - 74", 5x - 80", 6x - 86", 

7x - 92", *8x - 99", *9x - 106", *10x - 113"

*In larger sizes, we may need to add center seams.

Neckline depths, from high point of shoulder, straight diagonal line to center front neckline:

high V-neckline - 10 3/4", low V-neckline 12 1/2".  

extra low V - 15 1/2" (you need a tank or cami underneath)

cut and sew

Our cut and sew charge for the basic tunic with slits, and slim hood would be $82. Add $5 for pockets, $5 for cowl collar or hood with drawcord.

For this style as shown, you need 4 yards of 58/60" wide fabric for most variations.  

This style is loose enough that it works well for either stretch, or non-stretch fabrics.   

In fact, one variation that we love is semi-sheer hanky weight linen, as a beach cover up!

If you want it much longer, or with long sleeves and all the extras, you may need an extra 1/2 yard.
