Dosage

• For extemporaneous use only
• Common dosage range: 100 mg - 200 mg daily; can be taken with or without food
• It is advisable to begin supplementation at the low end of the dose range, increasing if required

Warnings

• L-Theanine has not been extensively tested for its effects during pregnancy
• Avoid use during pregnancy or lactation, unless confident that its impact can be reasonably deemed to be safe or beneficial
• L-Theanine increases the activity of doxorubicin, idarubicin, pirarubicin, cisplatin, and irinotecan in tumor cells
• Practitioners should conduct ongoing research and take care to follow their practitioner association guidelines for appropriate administration of compounding ingredients
• Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced diet
