The intense grapefruit and white peach, gun flint minerality, fresh brioche, subtle nuttiness, fruit purity and slightly charry oak all converge on the nose. The palate shows balanced French oak, creamy and long, with a fine talc-like grip, a spine of ripe acid backbone balanced with carefully considered malolactic fermentation to support this brighter, tighter style.

Chardonnay is a perfect wine to pair with fresh white fish or fresh shellfish (oysters with a splash of lemon juice are a big tick), and grilled prawns with a fresh citrus sauce will also be a winner too. Vietnamese-style chicken salad is also a great pairing if you're feeling something more substantial too.
