Exoracing T4 Turbocharger Gasket Installation Guide:

Follow our easy step-by-step guide below to get up and running as quickly as possible with your brand-new gasket. If you are unsure of any of the steps below, please contact a professional who can assist or install them.

1. First, ensure the T4 gasket is the correct one for your application by checking the technical specification table below. We also offer T25, T4, and T6 gaskets in case this isn't the correct one for your turbo.
2. Remove anything from the turbo that will prevent you from removing it from the manifold, such as the downpipe, air filter, coolant lines, oil lines, etc., and drain the coolant or oil if necessary.
3. Next, remove the turbo from the manifold using the four studs and nuts or bolts.
4. Slide out the old, worn gasket and check the turbo and manifold flange for warping. If they are 100% flat, move on to the next step. If they aren't, you are always best getting them machined flat to prevent the risk of gasket blowout.
5. Install your new Exoracing turbo gasket and reinstall the turbo to manifold bolts. Torque the bolts to your factory settings.
6. Install everything you removed earlier from the turbocharger, fill the car with oil and coolant if necessary, and bleed the coolant system.
7. Check for exhaust leaks; if you have any, try to find out what caused them. Once you have fixed this, move to the next step.
8. Run the car through a few heat cycles and retorque the manifold bolts to factory specifications.
