These triple Goddess earrings are small but mighty. They're subtle but the meaning behind them is as old as time. The moons represent a waxing crescent on the left, a full moon & the waning moon on the right. They represent life's cycles & have been used by modern Pagans to honour the Maiden - often Artemis, the Mother - Selene and the Crone - Hecate. The rhythm of the moon is thought to represent the female cycle and the Triple Goddess represents growth, freedom, confidence & courage.

I see these three phases as symbols of triumph over adversity, giving recognition that phases of womanhood often overlap in spite of gender assumptions and to find our inner Goddess.

Made out of sterling silver, these are not hallmarked as they fall well below the 7.78g legal limit for hallmarking. Should you require them hallmarking, this is possible at an extra cost. They are approximately 1cm in diameter with an 8mm post & sterling silver butterfly backs. They will arrive perfectly gift wrapped ready for you to open or to re-gift.

As with all sterling silver jewellery, care must be taken when wearing them. Do not bathe, wear them in the hot tub or pool, do not keep them with boiled eggs and please do not soak them in sun screen. Chemicals can make the silver go black & increase tarnish. When not being worn please keep them in your jewellery box with a sachet of silica gel which will help reduce moisture.
