A pair of large "box" or "body" stirrups.
These are probably Spanish and date from the 17th or 18th century.
The body of each stirrup is made of iron or steel and held in place by metal straps. The rivetting on the inside is quite crude.
There is some surface oxidation of the metal and it has corroded on a couple of edges. The soles of the stirrups are wooden - probably elm.
Dimensions : Each measures 11½" (292mm) long x 6" (150mm) tall x 5¼" (132mm) each
