This striking handmade fish-shaped platter would I think make a fantastic addition to the dinner party table or buffet, great for serving a whole fish, but also, say, for bagels and lox.Really beautifully made (this piece reminds me very much of the work of Anderson Design Studio in Maine) with a resist technique used for the surface decoration I believe,  it features a combination of creamy gray glazing with aqua highlights, and unglazed clay for the details.

12 1/4" long x 9 1/2" wide x 1" tall. There is one tiny chip on the edge of the platter near they eye (see magnified detail photos) which it took me a long time to notice; very minor. Otherwise, it is in essentially perfect condition with no apparent wear. Signed on the bottom KM.
