“Old Wool Co & She Seeketh Wool n Flax”
Double Chart- Cross Stitch Pattern Packet

This pattern is to be stitched with 1 threads over 2, on a coffee stained 32 count Linen. Just gorgeous!!! You can of course choose any linen you wish, however, keep in mind, that if you use a smaller or a larger count of linen, the finished size will change. I also extra dyed this linen to give it an aged appearance, before and then once done with the total project. Again, this too is a preference of choice.

I’ve included two charts in the pattern packet.. One that reads- “She Seeketh Wool n Flax”, and another version- that reads- “Old Wool Co- est. 1872”. I’ve included a small number chart- that goes with the Old Wool Co version- so you can change the date if you wish.. Have some fun!!!

Basic cross stitch x’s are used throughout this entire piece, and I used DMC Threads throughout. I’d love to see some variegated threads used too!!! Oh- the possibilities!!!

I stitched my model for this pattern- on 30 count linen- with 1 thread over 1, however- I’ve charted it for 32 count, stitching 1 over 2. You’ll definitely end up with a different finished size, as noted on the chart- if you choose another size/ count of linen. My model turned out to be approx. 6 /2” by 8 ½”, but of course- it does depend on if you are stitching 1 over 1 or over 2 or it may just depend on the count of linen.. You can have tons of fun with this… There is a free calculator to figure out your sizes online. If you need help finding it- message me!!!

Please note!!! I don’t wish for anyone to “adapt” this cross stitch pattern into any other pattern on their own, as it is my design and I will be releasing future patterns using this. If you’ve any questions regarding this- please do let me know….
