Steering rack stops for BMW E36 / E46 steering racks

WHY DO YOU NEED ONE?

Steering rack stops are required with custom front geometry setups where steering angle is increased or control arm design will limit maximum steering angle. These rack stops will limit steering rack maximum stroke to avoid wheel hitting the chassis or control arms.

DOES IT FIT MY CAR?

The kit can be used with E36 non-M, E36 M3 and E46 non-M steering racks, please confirm diameters if used with any other models. NOTE: Driver and passenger sides are generally different sizes. 
3 different lengths available for most common setups with standard wheel backspacing. If you're unsure which length you need, pick the longer one as you can always shorten the rack stop if more steering angle can be used.

Available sizes:

• D27mm + D28mm (18mm length)
• D27mm + D28mm (25mm length)
• D27mm + D28mm (32mm length)

IS IT EASY TO INSTALL?

Tie rod inner ends need to be removed to slide these onto the steering rack, no special tools or other modifications are needed.

HOW ABOUT THE LIFETIME AND SERVICE OF THE KIT?

The kit does not need service while in use, always use Loctite on bolts and screws that might become loose. The kits have been proven on street and track applications by many of our customers. We're constantly doing R&D to make the kits even better, all improvements are based on customer feedback which is very important to us. Any of the spare parts can be also bought separately from us.

We want to keep our customers 100% happy thus we're only using the best materials and manufacturing processes available. Steering rack stops are CNC machined from Delrin bar stock.
