Rob took special care with this fin's construction, wanting to create a technically progressive flex throughout the template. Because of the various carbon layups in combination with the bamboo core, the leading edge is stiffer while the trailing edge has more flex. This construction's progressive flex provides spring and liveliness out of every turn, while maintaining the immediate response and drive required for high-performance surfing.
This fin set comes as a 5 Fin Set because although Rob original designed the Groove as a Thruster, he quickly became hooked on the Quad configuration. It's offered in size Medium- Large as it's larger than a typical Medium but smaller than a typical Large.
