The more time I spend with this one the more I love her. She's got a bit of the Rodin about her in aspiration, but I think more the spirit of a Rodin watercolor than a sculpture, much looser, and her face is more Picasso- or de Kooning-esque! Altogether she feels one part academic, one part folk, and with a sort of crusty surface that makes her feel as if she were long buried and just dug up, like an ancient fertility goddess! Great from every angle and just great.

 8" l x 2 1/4" w x 4" t, 2nd quarter 20th century I would guess, good condition, great presence.
