Imagine cruising on open waters without constantly adjusting the helm— that's the freedom the Garmin GHC 20 delivers. This remanufactured color control display brings modern clarity and precision to your marine autopilot system, whether you're handling a powerboat or sailboat. Refurbished to Garmin's exacting standards, it performs like new while offering exceptional value for seasoned captains looking to refresh their setup.
What sets the GHC 20 apart? Its vibrant 4-inch glass-bonded display fights off glare and fogging, ensuring you stay oriented even in choppy seas or under harsh sunlight. With a generous 170-degree viewing angle, everyone on deck can glance at heading, course, and autopilot status without crowding the helm. Night voyages? Switch to red/black or green/black palettes to preserve your night vision, paired with adjustable backlighting for that perfect glow.
Installing the GHC 20 is straightforward for DIY boaters or pros. Powered directly through the NMEA 2000 backbone (9-16 VDC, up to 32 VDC tolerance), it draws minimal power at just 3W max. Drop cables and T-connectors are ready to go, minimizing wiring headaches. For sailboats, it shines in reactive steering modes; powerboaters love the shadow drive options on compatible pilots.
Pro Tip: Before mounting, map your NMEA 2000 network—ensuring clean terminations prevents data glitches. Flush-mount hardware secures it firmly, and the protective cover keeps it pristine when not in use.
