This Sicilian Amaro is made using hand picked and peeled Sicilian oranges.  The peels are vatted for infusion with wild-gathered herbs and botanicals from the slopes of Mt. Etna, then proofed with water drawn from the Etna spring.  The result is a unique, tasty Amaro.  Strong citrus notes dominate the nose, backed by light floral and earthy scents.  The palate begins with bright citrus but is well balanced with earthy chocolate, florals, and lightly bitter herbal notes.  Delicious for sipping, Amara D'Arancia Rossa can also be subbed for orange liqueur for a pleasant tweak to your Sidecar or Margarita.
