This refined mid-century cigarette case features a gilded scrollwork design on a brushed gold-tone finish, likely dating to the 1950s or early 1960s.

The engraved flourish motif is elegant and fluid, and the interior dazzles with an exquisite guilloché finish, typical of the era’s most respected American vanity case makers.

Though unmarked, the craftsmanship strongly suggests origins from a leading manufacturer like Elgin American or Wadsworth, both of whom produced nearly identical forms with this signature guilloché patterning and secure push-button clasps.

This piece originates from an inherited collection of unsold retail inventory. While unused, it has one noticeable scratch on the front and very minor scratches on the back (which can be hard to see in photos), but expected on something of this age.
