Hard to describe and just has hard to photograph, this birdhouse uses the same 12-sided layout of Milkweed images as the other Milkweed birdhouse. But this one is on transparent material that shows the brushed aluminum panel everywhere that would otherwise be white. This gives the entire image an entrancing 3D effect. Also protected with UV inhibitors, this birdhouse is just as durable and beautiful as its more traditional companions. Sally removed the greens of the original image leaving a striking grey & white, with pink Milkweed florets. The 12-sided dodecagon shape is a favorite of Sally's because of it's usefulness making clock faces. Happily, it also works great on birdhouses!

I build these birdhouses using 3/4" plywood and metal panels that I design and make in my studio. The panels will never rust. They are made from the same UV-protected metal as a novelty license plate, like those for a university or ball team. Hang your birdhouse in dappled sun or full shade for happy birds and long lasting colors. Air vents located under the protection of the eaves and in the floor allow air flow through-out. The roof is removable for easy access to clean out old nests.
