This is a gorgeous art pottery plate with calla lily design produced by San Jose Pottery, San Jose Mission, San Antonio, TX, sometime between the 20s and early 50s. The design is rendered in four rich, satin-finish glazes -- deep celadon green, creamy white, pale yellow, and caramel brown. I would use it for serving cheeses or appetizers, or hang it on the wall where it can be enjoyed everyday. Just lovely!

The plate, which measures 10 inches in diameter, and 3/4" in height,  is in good condition, with no chips or cracks. There is some crazing visible in the white glaze of the flower and a bit of bleed of the brown glaze.
