Fermentation temperature control + crash cooling for up to 4 fermenters
Proudly Built in the USA • Built-in Controller • 1-Year Warranty
If you want colder temps and tighter fermentation control than a standard water chiller can provide, this is the upgrade. Our glycol chiller is designed to maintain a cold glycol reservoir (set it, forget it), then deliver chilled glycol to your fermenters via submersible pumps—ideal for brewing and other low-temperature applications.
The built-in controller maintains your glycol reservoir at a setpoint (example: 28°F)
Use one submersible pump per fermenter (recommended)
Each pump is typically controlled by its own pump controller, so you can run different temps on different fermenters at the same time
Suitable for applications down to about 5°F (depending on heat load), making it great for fermentation control and cold-side applications.
The reservoir lid includes 4 inlets + 4 outlets (3/8" barbed fittings), plus an additional pass-through hole for pump power cords.
(Note: product photo showing only 2 in/out barbs needs updating.)
Holds 5 quarts of glycol, helping the system stay cold and stable.
You can use different water/glycol ratios depending on your target temperature and freeze protection. For brewing, it’s common to use 33–50% glycol.
We recommend 50/50 for simplicity and extra freeze-protection buffer.
In testing down to -14°F, a 50/50 mix performed without freezing issues.
This chiller is designed for maintaining fermentation temps and crash cooling.
It is not intended to chill wort directly from boiling temps.
Common practice:
Use tap water first to drop wort to ~100°F, then switch to glycol, or
Use a two-stage system (chiller pre-cools water that then cools wort)
Compressor: 1/3 HP
Cooling Capacity: 2200 BTU/hr @ 28°F
Reservoir: 5 quarts, insulated
Connections: (4) in + (4) out with 3/8" barbed fittings
Warranty: 1 year
Built: USA
Set the glycol reservoir temp on the chiller, then let each fermenter controller manage its own pump. That’s how you get independent fermentation temperatures across multiple vessels—clean, scalable, and repeatable.
