Part ST0500600R31C is a 6" Eaton Model 50 carbon steel strainer. The model 50 is a duplex basket strainer - meaning it has two large basket chambers and a diverter in between them. When one basket becomes full, simply divert flow to the other empty basket and clean out the full one! There is no need to shut down the line for cleaning. The unique diverter design includes an integral lifting jack that actually lifts the diverter plug off its seat so that even under high pressures, diverting flow is a breeze. Other features include threaded drain, machined basket seat, and quick open cover.
