Blanket Safe Gallon Concentrates

Concentrate Blanket Safe Soap makes a MINIMUM of 16 (32oz Bottles). Thinking a 32oz ready to use bottle is more your size? Look here! While our suggestion to wash per LOAD is 5-8oz of diluted solution, depending on soiling and size of load….feel free to adjust as needed. All Washing Machines are NOT created equal, so adjust as you need…just make sure you have enough water and you are NOT crowding the machine! 

Unlike so many others, our washes DO NOT NEED WARM/HOT WATER for effective in cleaning, they have DEODORIZERS built in (no need for another product), they are DETERGENT FREE, they are MADE FOR HORSE BLANKETS…not tents, shoes, other outer wear (since we know tents don’t worn on the back of a horse…why would a tent wash work for horse blankets?)

Blanket Safe Wash and Deodorizers

After another day of mucking out the stable and stalls and grooming the horse who holds your heart, you deserve a break when it comes to cleaning his blanket or fly sheet. And he deserves a blanket wash that treats his skin and hair with gentle care. 

Blanket Safe Wash and deodorizers are the world’s easiest, cold-water horse blanket washes--made by horse and animal lovers--exclusively just for cleaning and deodorizing horse blankets, fly sheets, and pet beds. 

Too often blankets get dirty--and stay dirty--because cleaning is too complicated. As horse blanket laundry owners, we wanted a product that will easily clean the months of dirt, bacteria and odor accumulated on our customer's horse’s blankets and fly sheets, and that wouldn’t hurt either animals, or the blankets.

Unlike “all purpose” detergents with harmful chemicals that strip blankets of waterproofing or trigger allergies in animals or itching on horses, Blanket Safe washes and deodorizers are residue free and irritant free, which means your blankets and pet wear come out of the wash not only looking like new, but 100% safe for both children and animals.

*Please note, Blanket Safe protects the factory applied waterproofing, we cannot guarantee any topically applied treatments as we do not know product and quality. Plus it is good to note that these yearly applied treatments, do need to be annually applied or after any kind of washing (Blanket Safe or Not).

Horse Blanket and Pet Laundry products

• 1 Gallon Concentrate will make 4 Gals of Ready to Use Solution

• 32oz will wash 4-8 Loads depending on soiling and load size.

  • Regular Washes - The workhorse (sorry, we had to!) of our wash family, the regular wash is our best general cleaner for a variety of items. Our standard scents include French Lavender, Fresh Linen, Sweet Cherry, and Zesty Lemon. (And as wonderful as they smell going into the wash, your blanket will come out clean and completely odor free, so your horse or animals won’t be bothered by any smells). Use on anything washable, but we don’t suggest using this one on wool.
    
    
  • Free & Clear - Gives you all the benefits of the regular wash, but free from dyes and scent. Use on anything washable, but not suggested for wool.
    
    
  • Fleece & Wool - This formulation is safe and effective on all your wool, sheepskin, and fleece items. (Fleece items may also be washed in the Regular or Free & Clear Wash.) Soap particles may be seen in the Fleece and Wool, this is normal, just give a good shake before using and the results will still be magical!
    
    
  • Ultra - When he’s really rolled around in the dirt, you need our Ultra wash. We formulated this with deep cleaning additives and anti-static treatment that helps remove excess hair. If you wash your blankets in laundromats or communal machines, Ultra is also your best bet for preventing cross contamination.

• • Water-based Waterproofing - Comes in a ready to use and concentrated form. Gets applied to DAMP blankets after cleaning. Great for an annual treatment to help maintain the factory applied waterproofing. Will help to extend the longevity of your factory applied waterproofing. Does not work great on blankets which waterproofing has been destroyed. Will not work on blankets that have been washed in detergents. Depending on the size of blankets a 32oz bottle will work on 5-8 Blankets. Spray liberally and allow to sit, may rub in excess. Concentrate makes max 3 Gallons of Ready to Use (some prefer to adjust to their own concentration).  (For more information specifically on our water-proofers, look here)
