Condition: Very good condition. The canvas exterior is in very good condition with moderate rubbing to the base corners and one small graze to the rear of the body (see photo). The leather trim at the top edge has moderate rubbing and creasing throughout, and the odd small area that has rubbed all the way through the leather. The bonded leather on the side cinches has separated in a couple of spots, although overall the cinches present very well. The handles have softened from normal use and have moderate creasing and rubbing throughout. The hardware is shiny and in good condition with moderate loss of gold tone loss at a few contact points. The interior is clean and has moderate discolouration and marks to the base and several heavier black ink marks to the sides, and to the interior and exterior of the hanging pocket. The interior pocket also has peeling to the waxy coating of the lining, as commonly occurs with this type of lining.
