As Black folks living away from our Motherland, we are tasked with honoring our ancestors and re-membering all the things that belong to Us— our indigenous medicines, technologies, rituals, and traditions. These indigenous practices are ours and have not been lost to us. We can find them in our dreams, cabinets, dance, music, pulpits, and cookouts. This is an opportunity to have conversations about the origins of these practices we may be familiar with.
Our time together will be an intimate gathering. Each session will take place over Zoom and last approximately one hour. It is important that you arrive with an open heart and your camera on as this is a sacred circle we are creating together. Our sessions will take place in a structured setting with an agenda and plenty room for Q&A.

The purpose of this immersion is to provide a safe space for Black folks to learn and ask questions about Indigenous African spirituality and reconnect with The Source through Yorùbá cosmology and ritual in a community that shares a similar experience in the Diaspora.
