Following the disbandment of Sugar Babes, Taeko Onuki embarked on a solo career, signing with Crown Records. Her unforgettable first album hit the shelves on September 25, 1976.
During the recording sessions held between June and August 1976, luminaries such as Tatsuro Yamashita, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Makoto Yano, and Tin Pan Alley (Haruomi Hosono, Shigeru Suzuki, and Tatsuo Hayashi) contributed their talents.
Interestingly, tracks like "Love Is A Vision," "Yakusoku," "Toki no Hajimari," and "Machi" were originally slated for the second Sugar Babes album before their breakup.
