Needless to say - made from thick denim like material, these are built tough! They are quite wide and have pocket slits designed to be worn over other layers. Having said that, they can definitely be worn alone. The right side has a long utility pocket ideal for storing a tool or two while on the job. Belt loops and a buttoned waist are what helps keep these britches up.
