Contraindications – Do NOT use this peel if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have an active cold sore, Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV), or open lesions in the treatment area
• Have had recent sunburn, windburn, or skin irritation
• Are currently using Accutane (Isotretinoin) or have used it within the past 6–12 months
• Are using topical retinoids (e.g., Retin-A, tretinoin) or strong exfoliants must discontinue use at least 5–7 days prior
• Have had laser treatments, waxing, or facial procedures within the past 7 days
• Have eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, or extremely sensitive or compromised skin in the treatment area
• Have a history of abnormal scarring
• Have used another chemical peel in the last 4 weeks (depending on strength)
• Will be out in the sun for the next two weeks after peel (please wear hats, sunglasses,sunscreen (reapply every two hours) etc
