This would be a fairly standard type of pocket revolver with its folding trigger and 2 piece bag shaped grip, except for the delightful floral silver (white metal) inlay to its barrel, cylinder and frame.
It might just be clever turning, but it looks as though the ejector rod has a silver twist to it as well.
The metalwork is unpitted and has some of its original browning remaining.
I am surprised that this piece is unsigned, but it has the usual Liege Proof Mark along with London visual Proof Crowned V, and there is also a very small Crowned M? Inspection Stamp on the end of the cylinder.
The cross hatched ebony grip is in good condition.
It operates correctly on both single and double action, with the cylinder cycling correctly.
Definitely a cut above the norm.
Barrel length 8.5cm, Overall length 19cm.
