A lovely and very old antique mirror with applied gilding and polychrome paint, in the Renaissance style, from the 18th and possibly the 17th century. Most probably Italian or French.

This exquisite piece is both a table mirror and a wall mirror. It has a velvet back and gorgeous patina, with very soft tones of gold with faded black or indigo accents. Beautifully worn with small nicks and losses commensurate with age.

This piece would look stunning over a bed or as an accent on any table.
