Photos don't do justice to the gorgeous patina of this frame, which is a very warm, light gold with undertones of umber and white. Beautifully hand carved with scrolls, vines and flowers. This piece has a substantial presence with three inches of depth, giving it a wonderful materiality on the wall.
The frame is in great shape and solid. A few tiny scattered nicks to the gilt, commensurate with age. One vine has a tiny piece missing. (Lower left corner.)
