This is a very special Hat.

Designed by MJ and knitted from left-over wool by Caroline here in Waterford, Ireland.

Soft, strong, light, and oh so warm!

I wanted to create a hat with a very special message - As I live on the water, I see the changes happening every year, especially the rising levels of the seas. As an artist, I wanted to communicate this information visually, which is why I created this hat.

Each stripe on this hat represents a decade of rising sea levels, and each stripe is pretty much to scale! Overall, this hat illustrates 80 years of rising sea levels (25cm!)

Made from left-over wool, this no-waste hat represents a lifetime (80 years) and illustrates real data on rising sea levels worldwide.
