The 2021 Nebbiolo is the first wine made since the block was replanted in 2017. This wine has the typical rose and smoked meat aromas, the finely- fruited palate driven home by a tannin grip. It needs time in the glass or decanting to reveal itself and will benefit from cellaring. The north-west aspect and clay loam soils of the K block are perfect for this variety. Warm days ripening the grapes and producing the full tar flavours and a firm tannin structure. Always the last variety into the winery, as it is late ripening, but we are always so excited to see it arrive!
