The Sun King stands above all with a stern, proud countenance, immortalized in a 7-meter tall sculpture by François Girardon (1699) in Place Vendôme. The bust was destroyed during the French Revolution of 1792, but was ultimately reincarnated in a smaller scale in the Louvre Museum. Now, Trudon reproduces this iconic figure of l'art à la française, a 35cm-high bust crafted in collaboration with The Plaster Cast Workshop of the Rmn-Grand Palais.
