It's post-1962, we're on Great Western Road, and the old tramrails are coming up.

Even today traffic is always backed up at this corner, that's Kirklee Road on the right, with its wee, green wooden Post Office and corner shop, but the tramworks only added to the tailbacks.

No road cones to keep the workers safe, just wee red flags to alert passing drivers. That said, despite all the disruption, as usual in Glasgow, there only appears to be two guys doing any work!
