Mosquito Bits are a highly selective biopesticide effective against mosquitoes in a variety of habitats. When spread over the surface of standing water, Mosquito Bits release a biological mosquito larvacide (Bacillus thuringiensis v. israelensis) into the water. This larvicide gradually settles in the water where it is eaten by mosquito larvae growing there. Mosquito Bits may be used in all types of standing water sites where mosquito larvae grow. Mosquito Bits will give a quick kill within 24 hours and can control for up to 14 days in water of low to moderate organic content. Employ a 7-day or 14-day interval between applications.
