The Spypoint Flex Dark is a great camera for the Flex line. This is a very concealable camera being a no glow unit and small. This camera will continue to take photos while transmitting them which is a great feature. You will get a lot of camera for your money. - TCP Staff

Be Wary Of Megapixel Ratings

Megapixel ratings for trail cameras seem to increase more & more every year. In reality, the native resolution of 99% of all trail cameras is 5 megapixels or less.  Manufacturers artificially inflate megapixel ratings for advertising purposes through a process called interpolation. Interpolated photos are enhanced by software to mimic the file size of a higher megapixel photo, but seldom offer additional clarity or resolution.  The result is an exponentially larger file size photo which takes longer to load and slows down the speed of your camera.  We always program our cameras to capture photos at the image sensor's native resolution. Case Design

The camera boasts a stylish design and feels quite robust in hand. This model appears to be an enhanced version of the original Flex, notably featuring smaller and less detectable. The top-down opening latch is a unique design choice, and opens easier than previous Flex models. The battery tray is conveniently accessible at the bottom of the unit. 

On the back, the camera includes a threaded insert for a Slate River mount and a built-in python bracket, offering versatile mounting options. It's worth noting that the absence of an internal viewer means you'll primarily rely on the smartphone app for setup and image review. The camera does feature indicator lights that illuminate to provide feedback on certain functions, such as signal strength.
