The obverse features a classic portrait of a young Queen Elizabeth II in the right medallion and a soaring African Fish Eagle in the lower-left corner. The center displays the Federation's Coat of Arms. The reverse is beautifully engraved with a scenic view of a river, palm trees, and a traditional boat, capturing the landscape of the Zambezi region.
