A loving wintery tribute to Topper's Northern California home

The Fears x Topper Edition Series II: Tribute to Northern California range is housed in an uprated Brunswick 40 case with a screw down crown featuring the Fears cipher that helps increase water resistance to 150metres (15ATM). The elegant yet tough case perfectly suits the active feel of the watches and are enhanced with the first use of a La Joux-Perret movement in a Fears watch: the Swiss-made G101. This modern movement features automatic winding via a custom decorated rotor, Côtes de Genève decoration with Rhodium plating and blued screws.

Inspired by a winter scene in Northern California, its hand-finished dial is made in Germany and its diamond-cut applied hour markers are each filled with ultra-bright X1 grade Super-LumiNova in Switzerland. The rich saturated green with its water-like surface captures the colour of the coastal waters by the Pacific Ocean where the winter storms wash mica and pyrite down from the hills and change the colour of the sea. The pale golden indices, hands and printing are inspired by the ‘fool's gold’ deposits found on the beaches in Half Moon Bay.
