Where the standard cream sibling has a warmer-cream cast, this light-cream ground sits closer to ivory — the rug glows under daylight and reads almost iridescent under amber-LED lamp light. Not machine-washable. Vacuum twice weekly without beater bar; light-cream grounds are the most demanding palette in the 2M tier for surface dust and shoe-scuff visibility. Use a rug pad with light grip; blot spills immediately with cool water; professional clean every 12 months.

Most refined, most demanding. This is decisively a primary-bedroom-or-formal-living-room rug, not a family-room rug. Light-cream photographs spectacularly but asks for clean-shoe discipline at the threshold and prompt spill response. Cotton's softer hand is genuinely kinder than wool underfoot — but the palette wants a thoughtful, adult-led room.
