Hailing from Aberdeen, Porter’s Tropical Old Tom Gin is distilled in an innovative micro-distillery. They are on a mission to create light, refined gins via cold-distillation and built their own vacuum still in the basement of their bar in Aberdeen. The second gin to be launched by the Porter’s stable, Tropical Old Tom stays true to the recipe for well balanced, high-quality gin. The Porter’s vacuum still distills botanicals at low temperatures, which means that the gin’s botanicals hold on to their fresh, natural flavors.

On the nose, the piney resin aromas of juniper are there followed immediately with creamy exotic fruits and a dash of spice. The flavor profile includes surprising notes of citrus zest, honeysuckle, mango, with the sweetness of passion fruit and guava, a hint of honey, and freshly ground spices. The finish is clean and lightly sweet. Botanicals include: Juniper, Coriander, Angelica, Orange, Lemon, Cassia, Orris root, Cinnamon, Liquorice, Almond, Passion fruit, Guava, and White tea. Bottled at 40% abv.
