PLANT:

• Ledebouria socialis, commonly known as the Silver Squill or Leopard Lily, is a small and attractive bulbous plant belonging to the family Asparagaceae. Native to the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, it is known for its distinctive spotted or mottled leaves.
  Ledebouria socialis produces rosettes of pointed, succulent leaves that are often marked with silver or pewter spots and bands. The leaf color can range from green to purplish-green, and the overall effect is striking, resembling a leopard's spots.
  The plant grows from bulbs, and over time, it can form clumps with numerous rosettes. The bulbs are underground storage structures that allow the plant to survive adverse conditions.
  In late winter to early spring, Ledebouria socialis may produce slender spikes topped with small, tubular flowers. The flowers can vary in color, often displaying shades of purple or pink.
  
• Water Needs: Low to moderate; allow the soil to partially dry between waterings. Water more during the growing season and reduce in winter when the plant is dormant.
