​Kerner is a lesser known Italian varietal that’s actually a hybrid of Riesling and Schiava and nobody grows it better than Abbazia di Novacella. Though it is one of the oldest wineries in the world with over 850 years of winemaking experience, the cellar is entirely modern.  An aromatic wine from the northern region of Alto Adige, this white has notes of apple and peach on the nose with a hint of ripe mango on the palate. This Kerner has a crisp minerality present throughout, making it a perfect companion for Alpine inspired dishes.
