When we opened our Katoomba Brewpub, we brewed an experimental beer we creatively called Juicy Pale 1. We gave it to the locals and asked for their feedback. That feedback led to Juicy Pale 2, Juicy Pale 3, and so on until our community finally agreed we had succeeded in producing a hazy New England pale ale that was both sessionable and full of flavour. That beer is Status Quo.

The tightly dialled in blend of New World hops provide an intricate tropical fruit and citrus profile. Our original hazy house strain keeps it light, dry and refreshing with a gentle sweetness and silky mouthfeel.

In the GABS Hottest 100 this year, the wider craft beer community voted this Australia’s #1 beer. To mark this feat, we have canned Status Quo in a super limited edition golden tall boy that comes with a thank you hug* from us to you!
