Story behind the product ~ Milk gourds are large gourds which have been dried and then decorated with cow hide and sometimes beaded. These gourds are traditionally used by the Maasai in Kenya to ferment milk, a staple food of the Maasai. Gourds have been used by the Maasai for thousands of years. These gourds are also used by the Turkana in Kenya to make a yogurt made of cow's milk.
They are all unique, one off pieces.
