Straightpoint's LoadBlock Plus is a low-capacity load cell that features an integrated LCD display, mainly used for the measurement of loads associated with the testing of hydraulic presses, cylinders and jacks etc.

Used in many testing and load monitoring applications across the globe, the integrated LCD display eliminates the requirement of an individual display unit or any cable assembly that can easily be damaged or cause a trip hazard.

Boasting advanced features including full-function push-button controls for tare; units of measure (lbs, kg, kN, and tonnes) peak hold, preset tare, audible alarm, and an overload counter, the advanced microprocessor-based electronics arm the LoadBlock Plus with high-speed rates (500/sec), extreme resistance to industrial level noise, and remarkable stability. The exceptional stability provides the Load Block Plus with 5000+ divisions and the highest standard resolution of any self-indicating compression load cell available on today's market.

The crucial overload alarm counter is today and requirement for many safety and quality control departments, as it keeps track of overload events, allowing the load cell to be removed from service immediately, following a calibration of voiding overload event. The load cell in question can then be reported and sent off for proper testing and, if necessary, recalibration before re-entering service.

Straightpoint's Load Block Plus also features an RS-485 serial output port that allows for remote viewing with either the Straightpoint HandHeld Plus digital display/controller or a Windows PC-based desktop wth controller data logging software.
