A huge stone fruit orange, which almost feels as if made of cast iron--it is heavy! Most often with stone fruit is is the subtleties that get me--the veins and bruises and color variation--but in this case it is the completely iconic feeling of this big, very orange orange, as if just having arrived in a crate from Florida or California (and really it makes me want to stick a straw right in it!) I'm also rather amazed at the ability to carve stone to emulate the surface of orange peel, which this does precisely. The star-like stem end it pretty excellent looking too.

3 5/8" in diameter; weighs 2 1/2 pounds. Very good condition.
