The legend of La Négrette

Coming from the heart of the Fronton appellation in South West France, we have the wonderful Château Laurou from Guy Salmona. He escaped from data engineering to follow his true love of winemaking and the famed, La Négrette, the region’s unique black grape.

Château Laurou Tradition is organic and vegan and is 55% Négrette (there has to be at least 50% in the blend by law in Fronton) with Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon making up the balance.

Interestingly, La Négrette is grown almost nowhere else in the world. And boy are the results stunning. This beautiful certified organic wine has an instant charm with a silky mouthfeel and we are sure it will leave you quivering for more...
